PlainSight Terms of Use
Effective: August 1, 2026 — draft for review before publication
What PlainSight is — and is not
PlainSight produces educational explanations of documents you choose. It is not legal, tax, financial, insurance, or other professional advice, and no attorney-client or advisory relationship is created. AI-generated reports can be incomplete or wrong. Always read the original document and consult a qualified professional before making decisions.
Your responsibilities
- Only analyze documents you have the right to use.
- Do not rely on PlainSight as the sole basis for legal, financial, or medical decisions.
- Do not attempt to misuse, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
Subscriptions and purchases
- PlainSight Pro (monthly or annual) renews automatically until cancelled in your App Store account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Document credit packs are one-time purchases consumed per analysis.
- The first document analysis is free. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we enforce fair-use limits (such as daily analysis caps). Server copies of analyzed documents are retained for at most 24 hours.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before a claim.
